BORGORE
Borgore is hailed as Tel Aviv’s finest musical export with a knack for mind-bending musical mayhem. He’s headlined sold-out shows to record-breaking crowds at iconic events like Tomorrwland, Ultra Music Festival and EDC Vegas which are best described as surreal multi-sensory show productions. His creativity blends a background in compositional education from Tel Aviv's world-renowned Thelma Yellin Music Academy with influences in bass, trance, hip-hop, death metal and dubstep and the output is a no-holds-barred sound that is distinctly his own that is often referred to as Gorestep. Borgore’s long list of accolades also include heading up Buygore Records, collaborative bangers with anyone from Diplo to Miley Cyrus and internationally syndicated SiriusXM radio series 'The Borgore Show'. His larger-than-life sound is a reflection of his personality and is welcome addition to the line-up at 808 Festival.

CARNAGE
Few fresh artists have the influence and power that Guatemalan-American DJ and producer Carnage was awarded very early on in his career. Once called the king of trap, he went from making music in his bedroom and playing clubs in Guatemala City to one of the world’s biggest EDM DJs according to DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ List and he did it fast. After his groundbreaking remix of Hardwell’s ‘Spaceman’ garnered commercial success and catapulted him into the global scene, the LA based artist has been turning heads at the center of EDM tornado ever since and although his sound has now evolved into a big room house style, his edgy spin trap and EDM saw Carnage get signed to Ultra Records and headline their Miami festival. Having previously collaborated with artists like Borgore and Hardwell, Carnage is right at home on the line-up at 808 Festival.

DILLON FRANCIS
What we love most about the master of Moombahton Dillon Francis is his humorous and adventurous approach in a myriad of social media outlets and his willingness to collaborate musically with artists from all walks of life – the combination of it all also landing him on the Mad Decent roster. The explicit DJ is known for his high-energy festival sets where you’ll often find him playing alongside the likes of Diplo and Skrillex. In the studio he’s also remixed and collaborated with artists like Daft Punk, Steve Aoki, Justin Timberlake and DJ Snake. But the self-proclaimed Internet celebrity has also been dabbling in TV and film and after undertaking some short movies it’s also earned him the reputation as an inventive visual artist and playful observer of pop culture. Most recently he was picked to star on ‘DJ World’ where 6 DJs were picked to live in a house and have their lives taped. There is no doubt he’s one of the most interesting characters to land on the line-up at 808 Festival this year and you’d be mad to miss his show.

DZEKO & TORRES
Canada is spitting out dance music prodigies like rapid fire and Dzeko & Torres are the latest example of the wealth of talent residing in the country. The Toronto based duo have somewhat of a fairytale story after they went from idolizing Tiësto from the front row to playing alongside the Dutch star at festivals like Ultra and at clubs like Hakkasan in Las Vegas. Their musical mentor finally signed them to his prestigious Red Light Management group after a series of standout releases on top tier imprints like Mixmash Records and Dim Mak that thrust them in the spotlight and got them noticed. The duo are known for their diverse approach to EDM. "What we play and produce is a combination of Big Room electro and progressive house,” Torres has said of their style. “But apart from what we play and produce, we love tech, deep house, indie rock, and everything in between."

GTA
Wild, unpredictable and anything goes are the best ways to describe Miami DJ and producer duo GTA. They’re mission statement is loud and clear – death to genres. They site homegrown influences like urban, electronic rock and Latin sounds as well Miami’s melting pot approach to music as the reason behind their genre-free ethos. Dance music is whatever makes you move, they say. The duo serendipitously stumbled upon success after finishing only their first track together when they got word from Afrojack that he wanted to release the song. Fast forward a few years and they’ve been churning out releases on labels like Mad Decent, Fool’s Gold Records, Tiësto’s Musical Free and Calvin Harris’ Fly Eye and headlining the same Miami festivals that they used to work at. The only thing predictable about this young powerhouse duo is that crowds can expect maximum energy and that could come in the form of trap, hip-hop, electro and even rock or R&B.

HARDWELL
Hardwell has spent so many years at the top of DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ List that he’s become one of the worlds most in demand DJs and the fact that he’s still under 30 means he effortlessly keeps up with the relentless tour schedule required to cater to fans in every continent. Meanwhile he also balances Ibiza and Vegas residencies, his own label called Revealed Recordings, a weekly radio show called ‘Hardwell OnAir’ that he uses as an outlet to play music that doesn’t quite fit into his sets, taking his I Am Hardwell show global and somehow still had time to win a Golden Award for a Facebook fan-focused bot with creative agency We Make Awesome Sh. Fun fact, he was also immortalized as waxwork at Madame Tussauds. 808 Festival welcomes with open arms one of the world’s biggest DJs that is expected to deliver on an energetic, big room and progressive shows of the weekend.

MaRLo
MaRLo is a Dutch born and Australia based artist that’s been breathing new life into the trance genre as one of the most standout artists on the Armada label. Following in the success of artists like Ferry Corsten and Armin Van Buuren, MaRLo has been setting ablaze those same a State of Trance fans. A producer first and a DJ second, his prowess pinned him in Beatport’s top spots so many times that we’ve lost count and are pretty used to his music going viral. MaRLo has left his mark on charts and dance floors and amassed a cult following among old and new fans of the genre. This will be MaRLo’s debut performance at 808 Festival, where he fits right in with all the other world heavyweights.

VALENTINO KHAN
Skrillex sure knows how to pick ‘em. OWSLA’s hip-hop turned EDM prodigy Valentino Khan is an A-list producer having made music for plenty of Grammy-award winning artists in his career but after shifting spheres, his spotlight moment of last was producing the most played track by DJs in 2015 called ‘Deep Down Low’ which is now accompanied by a phenomenal video shot in Japan. His close kinship with artists like Diplo and Steve Aoki have helped boost his profile but mostly his larger-than-life personality and no holds barred performances have won the crowds in Asia and he has become one of the imprint’s most sought after acts in the area. Valentino Khan follows in the footsteps of label mates Jack U who headlined 808 Festival last year and whose performance will surely be reminiscent of the OWSLA family.

W&W
Infectious, rebellious and highly energetic is the best way to describe Dutch DJ and production duo W&W. No stranger to Asia, they’ve amassed a lot of fans in a short amount of time after having been supported by acts like Hardwell, Armin Van Buuren and David Guetta. Much like their idols, their ability to appeal to multiple audiences by blending elements of trance with the intensity of electro has seen them climb the ladder to the 13th spot of DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ List this year. Productions efforts have seen varied tracks in the limelight like ‘Live The Night’ with Lil’ Jon and their remix of ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ by The Chainsmokers. The Dutch superstars are quite used to headlining main stages at Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, Tomorrowworld, EDC Las Vegas, Amsterdam Music Festival and Stereosonic in Australia so they’ll fit right on stage at 808 Festival this year.

ZEDD
German wunderkind Zedd catapulted into the spotlight with 2012’s ‘Clarity’, for which he won a Grammy, followed up by ‘True Colors’ in 2015 and since then playing pretty much every festival on the planet like Coachella to touring with Lady Gaga. What more can we say? Zedd is the epitome of an EDM prodigy with a long history of music that’s been rightfully rewarded. At one time or another, the German-Russian DJ and producer has been tied to almost every prolific label out there, from Interscope to OWLSA to mau5trap and worked with everyone from Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, P. Diddy, Swedish House Mafia and Skrillex. Hardly a day goes by where he doesn’t make headlines and now he’ll bring that gift to Thailand.
