In The Terminal, Tom Hanks character traveled to USA to fulfilled his father’s dream. After being stuck in the airport for so long, finally he achieved what he set out to do. That was to get the autograph of Benny Golson – the living and breathing Jazz legend.

Only a handful of Jazz musicians can claim that they’re the real pioneer of Jazz. And even fewer musicians have a long and amazing career that influenced Jazz world. Benny Golson is one of the Jazz legend with his standard compositions, such as Killer Joe, I Remember Clifford, Along Came Betty, Stablemates, Whisper Not, Blues March, Five Spot After Dark, Are You Real?

Benny Golson is the only living Jazz artist who composed Standard Jazz tracks as much as 8 tracks. Those tracks were covered regularly. Golson himself has recorded more than 30 albums with various labels. He composed more than 300 songs so far.

His musicianship has given him the chance to travel around the world. In 1987, USA has appointed him as cultural ambassador to perform in South East Asia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar and Singapore.

Multitalented and internationally famous jazz legend, - a composer, arranger, lyricist, producer - and tenor saxophonist of world note, Benny Golson was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 25, 1929.Today, at the age of 88, Benny Golson is still energetic as ever – a genuine Jazz concert that jazzlovers can’t afford to miss!!!

Joris Teepe (BASS)
Several great bassists in Jazz came from Europe (Dave Holland, George Mraz, NHOP, Miroslav Vitous), but Joris Teepe is the first European musician from The Netherlands to be able to make it in NewYork. Arriving in New York in 1992 with just his bass and a suitcase, he quickly met many musicians, started to work a lot and a year later he recorded his first CD, co-led by Don Braden and featuring Cyrus Chestnut, Carl Allen and Tom Harrell. From that point everything really took of for Joris and he became a bassist in great demand and he has been working with the "who is who in Jazz" from Benny Golson to Randy Brecker to Rashied Ali.

Cory Henry – Keyboards, Vocal
AndrewBailie – Guitar
Taron Lockett – Drums
Nick Semrad – Keyboards
Sharay Reed - Bass

One of the finest Hammond B-3 organ players of his generation, Cory Henry was a child prodigy, playing both piano and organ by the time he was two years old, making his debut at the legendary Apollo Theater when he was only six. He has worked in the studio and toured with countless artists, including Yolanda Adams, Stanley Brown, Israel Houghton, P. Diddy, Kirk Franklin, Kenny Garrett (the 19-year-old Henry became a fixture in Garrett's touring band for three years), Donnie McClurkin, Boyz II Men, Michael McDonald, Bruce Springsteen, the Roots, and many others. He has also worked as a bandleader and producer as well as an in-demand sideman.

Falling closer to the Art Tatum and Oscar Peterson side of the Hammond organ jazz genre than Jimmy Smith, with maybe a little Billy Preston tossed in, Henry at his best combines the best of both gospel and jazz in his playing. His albums as a bandleader include the 2010 holiday set Christmas with You, 2011's Leave You Alone, and 2012's Gotcha Now Doc.

Since 2012, Henry has been a member of the acclaimed experimental jazz and funk ensemble Snarky Puppy, with whom he won a 2014 Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance and a 2015 Grammy for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album. In 2016, Henry released the gospel infused solo effort The Revival.

“…a perfectly combustible electric-acoustic outfit whose smart, often challenging and unpredictable compositions draw from fusion, postbox and contemporary jazz.

— Jazz Times
Throughout their storied 35-year history, the Yellowjackets have recorded 23 albums, received 17 Grammy® nominations – won 2 – performed countless sold-out tours, and enjoyed worldwide critical acclaim and commercial success.

The Yellowjackets formed in the late 1970’s as the backup band for guitarist Robben Ford. They recorded their first album together in 1980. Shortly after that recording, however, Ford decided to part ways and go in a different musical direction. As a result, the modern day Yellowjackets were formed — a trio with Russell Ferrante, Jimmy Haslip and Ricky Lawson. Since then, and with the addition of Bob Mintzer, the Yellowjackets have gained and maintained prominence as one of jazz’s most influential and loved groups.

Over the years the band has undergone numerous lineup changes. Never failing to rise to the inevitable challenges of adjustment, the Yellowjackets - Russell Ferrante, William Kennedy, Bob Mintzer - have maintained an extraordinarily high quality of musicianship that is the rival of many but a surprise to no one who knows and appreciates the band and their music.

The most recent addition to the band adds Australian bass player Dane Alderson in to the mix. With his exceptional rhythmic sensibility and natural disposition toward groove, Dane brings a new energy to the band and adds a youthful approach to the music.
The Yellowjackets newest album “Coherence" will be released on Mack Avenue Records in April 2016.

Thai luk thung and molam, both popular, rural music styles were spun alongside Mulatu, Augustus Pablo, R.Burnam and Fela Kuti, and the duo ended up playing in Japan, Vietnam, Germany, London, Switzerland, Austria and France. They also co-compiled the two volumes of “Sound of Siam” for Soundway, as well as “Thai? Dai!” for Finders Keepers.

The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band came out of these sessions and made their live debut in the Thai capital in 2012. Drawn from different music scenes in Bangkok, the band, consists of Kammao Perdtanon on phin (Thai lute), Sawai Kaewsombat on khaen, a type of bamboo harmonica, Piyanart Jotikasthira on bass, Phusana Treeburut on drums and Maft Sai and Chris Menist on percussion. At the end of 2014 the band's debut album “21st Century Molam” was released to excellent reviews across the board and it was nominated for a Worldwide Award by celebrated UK DJ Gilles Peterson, and has just been nominated for a Songlines Award. They toured Europe twice in 2015, playing at Worldwide Festival (France), Paleo (Switzerland), and Farmfest (UK) ending the tour with a sold out gig at London's Cafe Oto. The band has played regularly through Thailand too. In 2016, the band was invited to perform at Glastonbury Music Festival in UK which considers as the biggest music festival in the World.
