Imagine listening to one of the most beautiful and purest voices on earth: that of the Vienna Boys Choir on the January 2019 tour.

The Vienna Boys Choir has been singing at Vienna's Imperial Chapel since 1296. So far, they have sung 1000 tours in 97 different countries. 

Today, there are 100 choristers between the ages of nine and fourteen that give around 300 concerts each year in Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Americas. They actively performs with major orchestras, such as the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the Staatskapelle Berlin, the Oslo Philharmonic, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Riccardo Muti (honorary member of the Chapel Imperial), Andrés Orozco Estrada, Christian Thielemann, Simone Young.

About the conductor: 

Born in Hong Kong, Jimmy Chiang is a conductor and pianist who started his musical career at the age of 13. Chiang's conducting career began with winning the renowned “Lovro von Matacic” international competition for Young Conductors in Zagreb in 2007. He is a versatile and well-rounded musician known for interpreting a variety of repertoire from opera, symphony, choral, solo piano and chamber music worlds both in opera pits or on concert stages.
