การเต้นฮิป-ฮอปได้รับความนิยมสูงในระดับสากลและผู้ชมชาวไทยเองก็มีโอกาสได้รู้จักคณะ “Käfig” “Etha Dam” และ “A’corps” มาแล้ว เมื่อปีที่ผ่านมา เรามีโอกาสได้ชมฮิป-ฮอปหลากหลายรูปแบบ ในการแสดงของประเทศไทย ลาว ฝรั่งเศส และการแสดงร่วมของหลายประเทศ สำหรับปีนี้ “La Fête” ได้รับเกียรติจากคณะ “Accrorap” ฮิป-ฮอปชื่อดังของฝรั่งเศสมาร่วมแสดงในงานครั้งนี้

เชิญร่วมวาดฝันผ่านมุมมองของโลกแห่งความจริง ในการแสดงครั้งนี้ กาแดร์ อาตู นักเต้นจากกลุ่มอาโครแร๊ป จะมอบเสียงหัวเราะเล็กๆ พร้อมความสุขอันยิ่งใหญ่ให้แก่ท่าน โดยนำเนื้อเรื่องมาจากความทรงจำของนักเต้นในกลุ่ม รวมทั้งประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวในวัยเด็กของเขา อีกทั้งยังได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจาก โจฮาน เซบาสเตียน บ๊าค นักประพันธ์ชื่อก้องชาวเยอรมัน และข่าวต่างๆ ทางโทรทัศน์ เพลงประกอบการแสดงจะพาเราท่องไปในกาลเวลา ในขณะที่เหล่านักเต้นต่างร่ายรำท่วงท่าสุดวิจิตรตามบทเพลง ก่อนที่จะเปลี่ยนไปสู่การเต้นแนวขบขันและการให้เกียรติต่อ โฟลง ศิลปินชาวเบลเยี่ยม การแสดงหนึ่งชุดประกอบด้วยช่วงตอนขนาดสั้นซึ่งได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากหนังสั้น ที่มีฉากกระตุ้นต่อมฮา เพื่อสร้างสีสันให้การแสดงปิดฉากอย่างงดงามและลงตัว

คณะ “Accrorap” ภายใต้การนำของกาแดร์ อาตู และกลุ่มเพื่อน อีริก เมซิ มูราด แมร์ซูกิ และ ชาอูกิ แซด ก่อตั้งขึ้นในเดือนธันวาคม ปี 2532 ในสมัยนั้น การเต้นเป็นกิจกรรมบันเทิงอย่างหนึ่งของวัยรุ่นในแถบชานเมืองลียง การผสานกายกรรมเข้ากับการเต้นริมถนนก่อให้เกิดการเต้นแนวใหม่ การแสดงของกลุ่มอาโครแร๊ป บอกเล่าเรื่องราวต่าง ๆ เป็นเหมือนจุดนัดพบและก่อให้เกิดอารมณ์ศิลป์ พวกเราไม่เรียกตัวเองว่า “นักเต้นชานเมือง” แต่ระบุว่าการเต้นของกลุ่มคือการผสมผสานระหว่างการเต้นฮิฟฮอป และการเต้นร่วมสมัย ต่อมา ชิลล์ รงโดต์ ศิลปินนักเต้นอีกคนได้เข้ามาร่วมกลุ่มในปี 2536 ปีถัดมา กลุ่มอาโครแร๊ฟก็ได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการแสดง La Biennale de la Danse de Lyon ที่จัดขึ้นทุกสองปี นับเป็นการก้าวสู่การเต้นแบบฝรั่งเศสร่วมสมัย ต่อมา ในปี 2538 มูราด แมร์ซูกิแยกออกไปตั้งคณะ Kafíg (ซึ่งได้ร่วมแสดงใน La Fête 2007) วันที่ 5 กันยายน 2551 ถือเป็นวันสำคัญของของคณะอาโครแร๊ป เนื่องจากรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงวัฒนธรรมและโทรคมนาคมได้แต่งตั้งให้ นายกาแดร์ อาตู เป็นผู้บริหารสถาบันนาฏยศิลป์แห่งชาติ ประจำเมืองลา โรแชลล์ ซึ่งเป็นครั้งแรกที่นักออกแบบท่าเต้นฮิป-ฮอปได้ก้าวขึ้นดำรงตำแหน่งบริหารดังกล่าว

French hip-hop dance enjoys huge international success and Thai audiences are already familiar with the companies Käfig, Etha Dam and A’corps. Last year, Thai, Laotian, French and multiethnic performances at the festival offered us an opportunity to appreciate hip-hop in all its diversity. This year, “La Fête” has invited the company that everyone has been talking about in France: Accrorap!

Is it possible to create dreams with an eye on reality? In his latest show, the Accrorap choreographer Kader Attou offers us some laughter and lots of soul. To create this piece, he plunged into the memories of his dancers and his own childhood. From J S Bach to TV news, the soundtrack is a journey in time as the dancers provide lyrical moments, before breaking into a humorous dance performance and a tribute to Folon. This is a show composed of short sequences inspired by burlesque cinema in which tiny touches of humour keep step with choreographic surge in a free, light and poetic style.

The Accrorap Company was born in December 1989 with Kader Attou and his friends Eric Mézino, Mourad Merzouki and Chaouki Said. At that time, dance was a way to keep busy (positively) in the suburbs of Lyon. By merging acrobatics and street dancing, they invented original choreographies. The shows of Accrorap tell us stories, provoke encounters and bring feelings to life. The Accrorap performances reject the appellation “suburb” and stake their claim to a dialogue between hip-hip and contemporary dance forms. In 1993, the group met plastician Gilles Rondot. The following year, Accrorap was the star performer at the Dance Bienniale of Lyon, thereby guaranteeing its entry into the French contemporary dance scene. In 1995, Mourad Merzouki left the group to set up his own company: Kafíg (“La Fête” 2007). Accrorap was consecrated on September 5 2008. The French Minister of Culture and Communication appointed Kader Attou to head the La Rochelle National Choreographic Centre. This is a first for a hip-hip choreographer.
