The International Horticultural Exposition: Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2011 tickets will be on available for purchase from 8 August to 8 November 2011 with 50 % discount at 1,000 branches of Krung Thai Bank nationwide and all 153 Thaiticketmajor counters. On August 2nd, Mr. Jirakorn Kosaisawe, Director General of the Department of Agriculture officially presided over the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Admissions of the International Horticultural Exposition: Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2011 between the Administration Office of the Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2011 and its two counterparts, namely Krung Thai Bank Public Co. Ltd. and Thaiticketmajor Co. Ltd. The admission for this event will be distributed, three months prior to the start of the exposition, from 8 August to 8 November 2011. All tickets to be purchased during that period will be at 50 % discount. The International Horticultural Exposition: Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2011 will be held at the Royal Park Rajapruek in Mae Hia Sub-District, Mueang District of Chiangmai from 9 November 2011 to 15 February 2012.

 

Mr. Upatham Nisitsookjareon, Director of the Administration Office of the Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2011 disclosed that the admission ticket is in modern design with attractive colors and the image of the mascot called “Nong Khoon”, representing the new generation with a positive view in preserving natural resources, who loves agriculture and cares for the earth and an environment, accompanied with other 4 colleagues, namely “Lom Bin”, Din Cham”, “Nam Sai” and “Ai Oon”.

 

Admissions to the Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2011 are categorized into; adult single entry pass at 200 baht, the adult multiple entry pass at 800 baht and the group passes (minimum of 15 persons) at 150 baht each. Admissions prices for foreigners and Thais are standard. Children not more than 100 centimeters in height can enter the exposition for free. Students who are age not over 25 years old with students ID required, disabled, monks and novices and the elderly beyond 60 years of age will be charged half the price of adult admission.

 

“All advanced tickets with 50 % discount can be purchased during 8 August to 8 November 2011 at 1,000 branches of Krung Thai Bank nationwide and at 500 branches of the Thai Ticket Major. Only the first 9 persons, buying the advanced tickets at Krungthai Bank and Thai Ticket Major, will get a free ticket of Giant Flora Wheel” Mr. Upatham added.

 

Aside from the preparation in distributing the admissions for this event, Dr. Anuchit Anuchitanukul, Senior Executive Vice President, Managing Director, Electronic Banking and Cash Management Group of the Krung Thai Bank Plc. further stated that “To this auspicious occasion, the bank has launched the ATM Royal Flora Special edition with the logo of the Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2011 encompassing the key mascot of Nong Khoon together with friends. All interested parties can contact all branches of Krung Thai Bank nationwide from 1 September 2011 onwards. Persons who buy the tickets of the Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2011 at the Krung Thai Bank within 8 November 2011 can also issue the ATM Royal Flora at only 30 baht.”
