Singapore has been the proud host of the world’s only Formula One night race for the past years. The backdrop of heritage buildings, modern architecture and breathtaking skyline culminates in an unparalleled combination of sights, sounds and festivity.

Come September, the speed, thrills and non-stop action again enthrall crowds for the sixth year, where the very best of formula One will prove their mettle on the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

With just the one ticket, you can combine thrilling race action with an all-day entertainment programme featuring international headlining artistes, spectacular productions and roving performances throughout the circuit park. Located near five subway stations, the well-connected circuit is also a stone’s throw from five-star hotels, cultural and heritage sites, a casino, shopping malls and numerous food and entertainment centres.

Gear up for three days of non-stop action from 20 to 22 September 2013.

PREMIER WALKABOUT

Fans can catch the action from bleachers strategically located throughout the Circuit Park, including the first and final sequence of corners, the pit lane entry and exit, as well as along the sweeping right-hander at Turn 5.

Fans here witnessed Bruno Senna suffer a mishap not once, but twice over the weekend in 2012. Senna's Williams Renault made contact with the left-hand wall at Turn 20 during FP2, damaging the left-rear suspension. In Qualifying, Senna hit the barriers at Turn 21 - this time breaking his right rear suspension in the process.

Vitaly Petrov’s Caterham brought out the red flags in FP3 when he hit the barriers here too, before spinning to a halt at the entrance of the Pit Lane with a broken right rear suspension.

Premier Walkabout patrons can also indulge in a multitude of entertainment, food and beverage offerings across the entire Circuit Park over the three days, with access to Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3 and Zone 4.

BAY GRANDSTAND

Spectators at the Bay Grandstand will hear the roar beneath their feet as the cars race past the picturesque waterfront stretch and drive underneath the Bay Grandstand, a signature feature of the Singapore circuit.

This section of track has proven to be an Achilles' heel for many of the drivers as it requires them to negotiate four angled turns (16 to 19) in quick succession. In 2012, Narain Karthikeyan lost control of his HRT in his Marina Bay Street Circuit debut and crashed into the barriers at Turn 18 in lap 32, triggering the first of two Safety Car appearances. In 2010, another HRT fell foul here; Bruno Senna rammed his HRT into Kamui Kobayashi's stationary BMW Sauber that had hit the barriers earlier.

The Bay Grandstand is perhaps best known for the notorious 2008 Nelson Piquet Junior incident that took place after Turn 17, in addition to bungled moves a year later by Romain Grosjean at the same location.

Bay Grandstand ticketholders are spoilt for choice when it comes to food and beverage, with outlets at the grandstand’s undercroft, as well as at the nearby Esplanade Theatres by the Bay.

Patrons have access to Zone 3 and Zone 4.

Combination Packages available

The specially customised Combination Packages offer patrons the flexibility to experience different parts of the street circuit on each of the three days. To enjoy the best of what the Marina Bay Street Circuit has to offer, spectators can choose from various Padang, Turn 1 and Bay Grandstand combinations.

PADANG GRANDSTAND

The Padang Grandstand offers the perfect combination for those looking for excitement on and off the track in the heart of colonial Singapore. Situated on the driver's left, the Padang Grandstand offers a great view of the cars exiting Turn 9 and racing at about 240km/h along St Andrew's Road.

Just behind the grandstand is the massive Padang Stage, where daily headlining acts attract approximately 50,000 spectators.

Patrons have access to Zone 4.

PADANG GRANDSTAND

Situated right opposite the team garages, Pit Grandstand ticketholders are in an excellent position to catch the adrenaline-pumping action on the Pit Straight and enjoy great views of the Pit Lane, starting grid and finish line.

Petrolheads will experience the thrill first-hand as drivers tackle the final corner at about 200 km/h before going full throttle towards the chequered flag. Join in the celebrations on the track after the race and witness the crowning of a champion.

The Pit Straight was also the setting for AUTOSPORT Award's 'LG Moment of the Year' in 2010, where Heikki Kovalainen's Lotus burst into flames in the final leg of the race, prompting him to extinguish the fire himself.

Patrons have access to Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3 and Zone 4.

The specially customised Combination Packages offer patrons the flexibility to experience different parts of the street circuit on each of the three days. To enjoy the best racing action as well as the entertainment in Zones 1, 2, 3 and 4, spectators can opt for the Zone 1 Walkabout Combination that combines the Pit Grandstand (Friday and Saturday) and Premier Walkabout (Sunday) tickets.
