After teasing fans with their first two English-language singles in late 2015, Thailand’s top rock band Slot Machine has now released their first full English-language album, Spin the World.
And with an album full of powerful sounds and great melodies, and an international release, the band is ready to take on the international music scene.
The album’s first two singles: ‘Give It All To You’ and ‘I Know, I Know’ (English)/’Kon’ (Thai) gave the world their first taste of what to expect from the album which was produced by Steve Lillywhite, who has worked with superstar artists including The Rolling Stones, U2, Thirty Seconds to Mars and The Killers.
“One thing we always said during production of the album was that everyone has to know that we are a band from Asia when they listen to our music - from Thailand, to be exact,” the band members said.
Slot Machine spent six months creating Spin the World. After recording the album, the band, which consists of KARINYAWAT (FOET) DURONGJIRAKAN (vocals), ATIRATH (GAK) PINTONG (bass), JANEVIT (VIT) CHANPANYAWONG (guitar) and SETTHARAT (AUTO) PHANGCHUNAN (drums), performed live shows in several countries including England, Taiwan and Singapore.

กุมภาพันธ์ ปี 2016 พวกเขาส่งเพลงเท่ๆ อย่าง ค้น และ I Know, I Know ซึ่งเป็นเพลง 2 เวอร์ชั่นไทย-อังกฤษ ที่มาแรงไม่แพ้กันมาให้เราฟัง ทั้งหมดเป็นงานเพลงที่ สล็อต แมชีน ร่วมงานกับโปรดิวเซอร์ระดับโลก สตีฟ ลีลลีไวต์ (Steve Lillywhite) ผู้เคยมีส่วนร่วมกับอัลบั้มของวงดนตรีอย่าง The Rolling Stones, U2, Thirty Seconds to Mars และ The Killers มาแล้ว และเป็นงานเพลงจากโปรเจกต์อัลบั้มใหม่ที่จะเป็นการขยายกลุ่มผู้ฟังออกไปสู่ต่างประเทศ!
อัลบั้มนี้ชื่อว่า Spin The World
“สิ่งหนึ่งที่เราคุยกันตลอดว่าอยากทำให้ได้ในอัลบั้มนี้ ก็คือ อย่างน้อยทุกคนฟังเพลงของเราแล้วเขาต้องรู้ให้ได้ว่าเรามาจากเอเชีย และมากกว่านั้นคือเรามาจากเมืองไทยครับ” พวกเขาบอกเล่าความมุ่งหมายที่มีร่วมกันในงานชุดนี้
Spin The World ใช้เวลาสร้างสรรค์ร่วม 6 เดือนในช่วงต้นปี 2559 และหลังจากบันทึกเสียงเสร็จ 4 หนุ่ม สล็อต แมชีน เฟิร์ส-คาริญญ์ยวัฒ ดุรงค์จิรกานต์ (ร้องนำ), แก๊ก-อธิราช ปิ่นทอง (เบส), วิทย์-เจนวิทย์ จันทร์ปัญญาวงศ์ (กีต้าร์) และ ออโต้-เศรษฐรัตน์ พังจุนันท์ (กลอง) ก็นำเพลงใหม่ออกไปตระเวนแสดงคอนเสิร์ตให้กับชาวต่างชาติได้ชมมาแล้ว
ประกาศฝีมือบนเวทีต่างแดนไปแล้ว ปล่อยเพลงใหม่มาให้แฟนๆ ตื่นเต้นก็แล้ว มาถึงวันนี้ พวกพร้อมแล้วที่จะปล่อยอัลบั้มภาษาอังกฤษแบบเต็มๆ ชุดแรกออกสู่สายตาและใบหูของชาวโลก!
อัลบั้ม Spin The World ในรูปแบบดิจิตัล จะขายวันที่ 20 พฤษภาคม นี้ ในจีน ฮ่องกง อินเดีย อินโดนีเซีย เกาหลี มาเลย์เซีย ตะวันออกกลาง ฟิลิปปินส์ สิงคโปร์ ไต้หวัน ประเทศไทย ญีปุ่น แคนาดา อเมริกา และ อังกฤษ และ ในรูปแบบซีดีอัลบั้ม มีวางขายในวันที่ 27 พฤษภาคม นี้ ที่ จีน ฮ่องกง อินโดนีเซีย เกาหลี ไต้หวัน และประเทศไทย
