Unique Night in Bangkok

Three leading actors from the West End’s top musicals will be performing together in concert for the first time in Bangkok next January. They will be joined on stage by special guest Ms Harriet Jones who played Christine in the London production of Phantom of the Opera.

London’s West End Men in concert with The Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra will take place at the prestigious Thailand Cultural Centre on Saturday January 19th, 2019.

LONDON’S WEST END MEN

The concert is supported by the British Embassy Bangkok and ThaiVisa.com.

To have three such talented leading men singing solo and in harmony together on stage, with Thailand’s top orchestra, will be a very exciting and unique experience for Bangkok audiences.

WEST END STAR IN HOSPITAL

Oliver Tompsett, who was due to perform at the London’s West End Men concert in Bangkok this week, has been rushed to hospital in London.

His role in the concert will now be taken by Ashley Stillburn, another star from the West End. Oliver who was staring in the hit musical Kinky Boots in London, contracted a serious chest infection and was immediately admitted to hospital.

His agent informed the London based producers of the London West End Men Bangkok concert late last Friday, and explained that his Doctor would not allow Oliver to take any long-haul flights. He therefore had no choice but to cancel his trip to perform in Thailand.

London’s West End Men producer Paul Morrisey, has now found a top-class replacement, Ashley Stillburn, to join the Bangkok concert.

Morrisey said,” Obviously it is very unfortunate that Oliver was taken ill, and we all wish him a speedy recovery. Meanwhile, Ashley Stillburn, who is himself a superb West End star, has performed in many musicals such as Sweeny Todd, Les Misérables and as Raoul in Phantom of the Opera. We were therefore just extremely lucky that he was available at such short notice.”

Ashley will be rehearsing in London this week, before flying over to join the rest of the cast for Saturday’s concert with the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra at the Thailand Cultural Centre.

Tickets for the two balconies are almost sold out but there are a few seats available downstairs through www.thaiticketmajor.com
