HARRY CONNICK, JR.
Over the past two decades, Harry Connick, Jr. has been one of the world’s most successful and multi-talented artists. Connick first rose to fame as a pianist, singer and bandleader, securing his place in the public eye as a true all-round entertainer.
His love of music and performing dates back to his childhood in New Orleans, where he first performed publicly at the age of five. He appeared on his first jazz recording at age ten, and released his self-titled major label debut for Columbia Records at the age of 19.
Connick is a well-rounded jazz musician. He is not only a great pianist and composer, he also excels as a singer with his soft baritone vocals. His albums have featured big-band, jazz, funk and intimate romantic ballads.

As one of the world’s most popular jazz musicians, Connick gained popularity for his memorable songs in the hit film When Harry Met Sally which led to Connick's first big-band recording and first multi-platinum album. The soundtrack included several hits; It Had to Be You, Let's Call the Whole Thing Off and Don't Get Around Much Any More. His music has also featured in several blockbuster films such as The Godfather Part 3, Sleepless in Seattle, The Mask and One Fine Day.

Connick is more than just a great musician. He is a well-rounded entertainer with a successful film career. After making his acting debut in Memphis Belle in 1990, he has appeared in Little Man Tate, Copycat, Independence Day, Hope Floats, and the recent P.S. I Love You with Hilary Swank. As a television performer, his credits include South Pacific and the hit comedy series Will & Grace.
Broadway Musicals
On Broadway Connick made his stage debut in the 2006 revival of The Pajama Game to sold-out audiences and rave reviews. His performance won many nominations for Best Leading Actor in a Musical and The Pajama Game won the 2006 Tony Award for Best Musical Revival on Broadway.

Connick has won three Grammy Awards: Best Jazz Male Vocal Performance for his songs from When Harry Met Sally and We Are in Love in 1990 and 1991 respectively, and Best Traditional Pop Album for Songs I Heard in 2002
