The five couples of Estampas Porteñas dance company, backed by singers and the sinuous sounds of a tango quintet, will take the audience on a journey of pulsating sensuality - first to an atmospheric 1950s Buenos Aires milonga (or dance café), then to a modern setting for more daring contemporary choreography with breathtaking lifts, accompanied by Astor Piazzolla music. Founder and choreographer Soler is a recipient of the Adán Buenos Aires Award (1995) for her artistic excellence and achievements with Estampas Porteñas, and her whole company dancers, singers, musicians are recognized artistes in their own right in Argentina.
