     ปูนาร์นาวา (Punarnava : To Kathak Anew) เป็นการแสดงระบำอินเดียที่น่าประทับใจ มีเค้าโครงจากระบำกัตทักฉบับดั้งเดิมที่มีความโดดเด่นทั้งด้านการเต้น ดนตรี และแสงสี มาตีความใหม่ให้เป็นการแสดงที่ร่วมสมัย ปูนาร์นาวาแสดงโดยกัตทัก เกนทรา สถาบันสอนการเต้นกัตทักระดับแนวหน้าของอินเดีย โดยการแสดงครั้งนี้ยังนับเป็นการแสดงรอบปฐมทัศน์โลกด้วย

     การแสดงชุดปูนาร์นาวา เป็นผลงานร่วมกันของ กูมูดินิ ลาเกีย (Kumudini Lakhia) นักออกแบบท่าเต้นที่มีผลงานได้รับการยอมรับอย่างสูง มาธัป มัดกาล (Madhup Mudgal) นักดนตรีผู้มีชื่อเสียง และโกตัม บัตตาชาร์ยา (Gautam Bhattacharya) นักออกแบบแสง โดยทั้งสามได้ทำงานร่วมกันอย่างใกล้ชิดจนกลายมาเป็นผลงานที่งดงามไร้ที่ติ

     “ทุกการเคลื่อนไหวคือการเต้นแบบกัตทัก แต่ในยามที่นักเต้นออกมาปรากฏกายแก่สายตาผู้ชม หรือเยื้องกรายออกมาบนเวทีอย่างรวดเร็วราวสายฟ้า และยืนด้วยท่วงท่าที่สง่างาม หรือทำตัวหมุนติ้ว ก็ทำให้ผู้ชมแทบจะหยุดหายใจได้เลยทีเดียว” -- สุนิล โกธารี (Sunil Kothari)

     Punarnava : To Kathak Anew is a riveting Indian dance production based on the classical Kathak dance tradition but with all aspects - dance, music, and lights – reinterpreted into a contemporary work. Performed by Katha Kendra, the leading Kathak training institution in India, this will be their world premiere performance.

     The highly respected choreographer of this piece is Kumudini Lakhia, who worked closely with renowned musician Madhup Mudgal and lights designer Gautam Bhattacharya to create a beautiful and seamless production.
