     ดิ อิมพีเรียล ไอซ์ สตาร์ เป็นนักสเก็ตน้ำแข็งเพียงคณะเดียวที่สามารถคว้ารางวัลการแสดงมาครองได้ ซินเดอเรลลา ออน ไอซ์ เป็นรูปแบบที่โตขึ้นของเทพนิยายยอดนิยมของเด็กเรื่องซินเดอเรลลา แสดงโดยนักสเก็ตผู้มากฝีมือมากกว่า 20 คน ทั้งจากระดับโอลิมปิก แชมป์โลก แชมป์ระดับชาติ และแชมป์ระดับยุโรป มาร่วมสร้างสรรค์การแสดงที่ครบเครื่องทั้งเครื่องแต่งกาย ฉาก จนถึงเทคนิคพิเศษที่น่าตื่นตาตื่นใจ

     ซินเดอเรลลา ออน ไอซ์ ได้ผสานความเป็นละครดรามา เข้ากับเรื่องราวดั้งเดิมอันเนื่องมาจากความเร็วในการเคลื่อนไหวและท่วงท่าของนักสเก็ต ซึ่งผู้ชมจะได้เห็นลีลาที่สวยงามของนักสเก็ตซึ่งไม่เคยเห็นที่ไหนมาก่อน และนี่ยังนับเป็นครั้งแรกของศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย ที่พื้นเวทีจะถูกเนรมิตให้กลายเป็นลานสเก็ตน้ำแข็ง

     สำหรับดนตรีประกอบการแสดง บรรเลงโดยคณะมอสโก สเตต ซีเนเมติก ออร์เคสตรา (Moscow State Cinematic Orchestra) เครื่องแต่งกายออกแบบโดยอัลบินา กาบูเอวา (Albina Gabueva) อดีตหัวหน้านักออกแบบของคณะสตานิสลาฟสกี ที่มีชื่อเสียงของมอสโก และผลิตโดย ฝ่ายเครื่องแต่งกายของคณะบัลเลต์บอลชอย เอมอน ดาร์ซี (Eamon D’Arcy) นักออกแบบฉากผู้มีชื่อเสียง ที่เคยฝากผลงานไว้ในพิธีเปิดการแข่งขันกีฬาโอลิมปิก ปี 2000 ที่นครซิดนีย์ เป็นผู้สร้างสรรค์ฉากสามมิติ รวมถึงฉากภูมิประเทศที่เป็นหิมะ และฉากงานคาร์นิวัล ที่ต้องใช้เทคนิคที่สลับซับซ้อน รวมทั้งการใช้ไฟและฝน

     The Imperial Ice Stars is the only ice-skating company to have won a theatrical award. Cinderella on Ice is a more adult version of the children’s story and is performed by a cast of over 20 Olympic, World, National and European Championship skaters to a contemporary score with stunning costumes, scenery and special effects.

     This staging on ice adds more drama to the story because of the speed of the skaters and their manoeuvres. Expect to see some unique skating moves which have not been seen before. This will be the first time in the history of the Thailand Cultural Centre that their stage will be turned into an ice rink.

     The score is played by the Moscow State Cinematic Orchestra. Costumes are designed by Albina Gabueva, former head designer at Moscow’s famed Stanislavsky Theatre, and made by the Bolshoi Ballet’s costume cutters. Eamon D’Arcy, renowned scenic designer also responsible for the opening ceremony of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, created three-dimensional scenery including snowscapes and carnivals, with complex special effects including fire and rain.
