คณะเนชันนัล เธียเตอร์ ออฟ โคเรีย จัดตั้งขึ้นเมื่อพ.ศ.2505 โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่ออนุรักษ์และพัฒนาระบำแบบดั้งเดิมของเกาหลี เพื่อความสมบูรณ์แบบของ
ศิลปะการร่ายรำของเกาหลี ทางคณะมีโอกาสได้ร่วมงานกับนักออกแบบท่าเต้นระดับแนวหน้าของเกาหลีมากมาย เช่น ซอง บีม, คัง ซวน-ยวง, ชื่อ ฮวน,คิม มุน-ซุก, โจ ฮึง-ดอง, กุก ซู-โฮ, แบบ จวง-ฮี และคิม ฮอย-จา ในช่วง 40 ปีที่ผ่านมา ทางคณะได้กรุยทางการสร้างสรรค์การเต้นรำแบบเกาหลีไว้มากมายการแสดงทั้ง
ในประเทศและต่างประเทศกว่าพันรอบของคณะทำให้ระบำเกาหลีเป็นที่นิยมมากขึ้นไปทั่วโลก ผลงานอันยอดเยี่ยมในช่วง 40 ปีที่ผ่านมาของคณะเนชันนัล เธียเตอร์ ออฟ โคเรีย ได้นำนักเต้นที่มีพรสวรรค์ที่สุดของเกาหลีมาร่วมกันไม่เพียงเพื่อรักษาศิลปะการร่ายรำของเกาหลีเท่านั้น แต่ยังได้พัฒนาการเต้นให้ทันสมัย
ขึ้น คณะเนชันนัล เธียเตอร์ ออฟ โคเรีย จะแสดงระบำเกาหลีหรือที่เรียกว่า จุง จู ดอง (การเคลื่อนไหวในความเงียบสงบ)
โดยมีไฮไลท์คือ ฟิล์ม รัฐภูมิ และ ดาราเกาหลี Lee Da Hae นางเอกเรื่อง My Girl มาร่วมเป็น Master of Ceremony (MC) ในงาน

National Theatre of Korea Presented by the Embassy of Korea and Ministry of Culture Sports & Tourism in celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Thailand
The National Dance Theatre of Korea was founded in 1962 with the goal of maintaining and re-creating traditional Korean dance. Striving to perfect the art of Korean dance, the Company has worked with leading Korean choreographers like Song Beom, Kang Seon-yeong, Choe Hyeon, Kim Mun-suk, Jo Heung-dong, Guk Su-ho, Bae Jeong-hye, and Kim Hyun-ja. In 89 regular productions over the past 40 years, the company has led the way in creative Korean dance. Over a thousand local and international performances have helped popularise Korean dance around the world. Drawing on a 40-year tradition of excellence, the company brings together the most talented dancers in Korea to not only preserve Korean traditional dance but also modernise it. The National Dance Company will perform The Korean Fantasy. Known as Jung Joong Dong' (dynamism in the midst of tranquillity), Korean Dance combines calmness with powerful energy.
