ชื่อ 1860 อ้างอิงถึงช่วงเริ่มต้นของกระแสศิลปะสมัยใหม่ ซึ่งเปลี่ยนวิธีที่โลกมองความคิดสร้างสรรค์ การแสดงออก และความเป็นมนุษย์ ผลงานนี้นำแนวคิดและมุมมองของศิลปินทั้ง 6 คน มาตีความใหม่ผ่านศิลปะการแสดง และเชื่อมโยงเป็น 6 บทของการเติบโต
แต่ละประสบการณ์เปรียบเสมือนรอยพู่กันที่ค่อย ๆ แต่งแต้มชีวิต ตั้งแต่การสร้างรากฐาน การเปิดรับอารมณ์ การก้าวเข้าสู่สิ่งที่ไม่รู้ การกล้าเลือกเส้นทางของตัวเอง การค้นหาตัวตนท่ามกลางความคาดหวัง จนถึงการกลับมาพบอิสรภาพ ความอยากรู้อยากเห็น และจินตนาการอีกครั้ง

The 14th Bangkok Dance Academy Charity Grand Performance presents an original dance production where visual and performing arts come together through dance, music, theatrical design, multimedia, and visual storytelling, brought to life by more than 400 performers.
Inspired by the lives, ideas, and artistic legacies of six artists who changed the way we see the world: Edgar Degas · Claude Monet · Salvador Dalí · Pablo Picasso · Andy Warhol · Yayoi Kusama
Their worlds are reimagined through a diverse range of dance styles, including Classical Ballet · Neo-Classical · Modern · Contemporary · Spanish Dance & Flamenco · Hip Hop · Jazz Dance.
Each artist becomes a chapter of life, and together the six chapters form one journey that brings us back to a single question —
How do we become who we are today?
ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE
The title 1860 refers to the beginning of the modern art movement, a period that transformed the way the world viewed creativity, expression, and the human experience. The production reimagines the ideas and perspectives of these six artists through the performing arts, connecting them through six chapters of growth.
Each experience becomes another brushstroke on the canvas of life — from building our foundations and opening ourselves to emotion, to stepping into the unknown, finding the courage to choose our own path, discovering our identity beyond expectations, and ultimately returning to freedom, curiosity, and imagination.
1860: LIFE CANVAS is a journey that invites audiences to reflect on the experiences that have shaped who we are today, reconnect with ourselves, and continue forward on the ever-changing canvas of life — discovering along the way The Art of Being Human.

The 14th Bangkok Dance Academy Charity Grand Performance. Net proceeds after expenses will be contributed in support of the Thai Red Cross Society’s Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer Foundation, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital.
