การเดินทางครั้งนี้ เริ่มต้นจากนักดนตรีเกือบ 30 วง
และ 9 วงได้รับเลือกให้เดินทางต่อบนเวทีเดียวกัน
THE VOYAGE CONCERT: SELECTED
คอนเสิร์ต Small Ensemble จากนักศึกษา Jazz Studies, College of Music, Mahidol University ที่รวบรวม 9 วงที่ได้รับการคัดเลือกจากการ audition เกือบ 30 วง
แต่ละวงมาจากคนละชั้นปี มีรสนิยม วิธีคิด และภาษาทางดนตรีที่ต่างกัน สิ่งที่เหมือนกันคือการเรียนรู้ที่จะฟังกัน เล่นด้วยกัน และค้นหาเสียงของตัวเองผ่าน Jazz
เพราะ Jazz ไม่ได้มีเส้นทางเดียว
และการถูกเลือกให้ขึ้นเวทีครั้งนี้ ก็ไม่ใช่ปลายทาง
มันเป็นเพียงอีกหนึ่งจุดเริ่มต้นของการเดินทาง
มาฟังว่า Jazz Mahidol รุ่นนี้กำลังคิด เล่น และพาเสียงดนตรีของพวกเขาไปทางไหน

THE VOYAGE CONCERT: SELECTED
Nearly 30 ensembles began the journey.
Nine were selected to take the stage.
THE VOYAGE CONCERT: SELECTED brings together nine student ensembles from Jazz Studies, College of Music, Mahidol University, selected through auditions from nearly 30 groups.
Different years, different musical backgrounds, different ideas — each ensemble brings its own approach to jazz. What they share is the experience of learning to listen, play together, improvise, and gradually find their own musical voice.
Because there is no single path in jazz.
And being selected for this concert is not the destination.
It’s another beginning.
Come and hear what the current generation of Mahidol Jazz students is playing, exploring, and bringing to the stage.
